Concrete Care
Concrete is a very durable material, but there are a few do’s and don’ts to keep it in good shape for as long as possible.
Things that you should do:
- Keep your concrete clean. Oil and chemical stains look bad and can deteriorate concrete over time.
- Pressure wash and re-seal your concrete every two years to keep it solid and looking good.
Things that you shouldn’t do:
- Do not use de-icing chemicals on your concrete! They will break down the surface and cause flaking in a single season.
- Avoid having heavy machinery drive on the concrete during your next project.
Lawn Care Basics
The best way to take care of a lawn will be different on every site due to environmental factors and microclimates. But there are still many basic guiding principles that will help you keep your lawn looking good. Below are some pointers that we have found to keep lawns looking good in our area. There is also a landscaping resources link at the bottom for more in-depth general guidance on lawn care techniques.
